Agentic Index
The 15 best agentic AI platforms in 2026, ranked
The best agentic AI platforms in 2026, ranked by the Agentic Index coverage score, are UiPath, Automation Anywhere, CrewAI, Salesforce and ServiceNow. UiPath leads the field at 13.5 out of 14 on documented capability coverage. This page lists all 15 platforms scoring 12.5 or higher, drawn from the 565 agentic AI platforms among 984 researched vendors, each graded against the same 14 buyer facing capabilities from public evidence only. Index data was last verified on August 8, 2026. No vendor pays for placement.
What counts as an agentic AI platform
A platform is where agents are built, orchestrated and governed. An agent does one job. On this page a vendor qualifies as an agentic AI platform if it sits in any of four horizontal lanes the index tracks: enterprise operations agents, multi-agent platforms, agent builders, agent infrastructure platforms. That test admits 565 of the 984 researched vendors. Vertical products, a support agent or a healthcare agent, are ranked in their own lanes instead.
The ordering is mechanical. Every vendor is graded Full, Partial or Unable to verify on 14 capabilities under the Agentic Index verification standard, those grades sum into an Agentic Index coverage score, and ties break alphabetically. The cut here is a threshold rather than a curated count: every qualifying platform at 12.5 or higher is listed, which is why the list runs to 15 rather than a round ten. Splitting a tie block to hit a rounder number would make the ranking an opinion.

1. UiPath
13.5/14enterprise operations agents, agent builders, multi-agent platforms
UiPath posts the highest verified coverage score of any agentic AI platform in the index. Maestro models long running processes in BPMN 2.0 and coordinates UiPath agents, third party agents, robots and humans across multisystem work such as claims, loans and payroll, while Agent Builder handles low code agent creation and the AI Trust Layer carries governance. It is the RPA incumbent that documented the most of the taxonomy rather than the newest entrant.

2. Automation Anywhere
13/14enterprise operations agents, multi-agent platforms, agent builders
Automation Anywhere calls its category Agentic Process Automation and treats agents, RPA bots, APIs and human decisions as one orchestrated system rather than separate tools. On documented evidence it is the closest thing the index has to a direct UiPath counterweight, and the two of them sweep the enterprise operations, multi agent and agent builder lanes together.

3. CrewAI
13/14multi-agent platforms
CrewAI is the highest scoring open source platform in the index and the only pure framework in the top five. Crews are teams of role based agents that collaborate on a task; Flows add deterministic control over how that work is sequenced. MIT licensed and Python native, it is the common starting point for engineering teams building multi agent systems in code rather than in a canvas.

4. Salesforce
13/14enterprise operations agents
Agentforce 360 turns the Sales, Service, Commerce and Marketing clouds into a surface where agents reason, plan and act, built on the Atlas Reasoning Engine and its reason, act, observe loop. The strategic point is placement rather than novelty: the agents run inside the system where the pipeline and the customer record already live.

5. ServiceNow
13/14enterprise operations agents, multi-agent platforms
ServiceNow pairs probabilistic model intelligence with deterministic workflow execution, so a Now Assist agent can interpret a request, decide with business context and then carry it out with governance built into the workflow layer itself. Agentic capability spans IT, HR, customer service and security operations on the same platform.

6. Agno
12.5/14agent infrastructure platforms
Agno, formerly Phidata, is a high performance agent runtime that treats fast instantiation and low memory use as a precondition for running many agents at once rather than a benchmark boast. Apache 2.0 licensed with full self hosting, multi agent support and built in memory, it is the leading pick in the index for teams that want the runtime rather than the suite.

7. Appian
12.5/14enterprise operations agents, agent builders
Appian anchors agents inside governed process models, on the argument that fragmented data and missing control are what actually block AI value. Agent Studio, data fabric context and agents that test other agents sit on top of the deepest public sector security stack in the index at FedRAMP High and DoD IL5, which makes it the strongest documented option for regulated and government buyers.

8. Atomicwork
12.5/14enterprise operations agents
Atomicwork gives every AI coworker a role, a budget, scoped access and an audit trail, and lets teams test agents before production. That governance shape is unusually explicit for a company of its size and is why an AI native ITSM and ESM platform scores alongside far larger vendors on documented coverage.

9. Boomi
12.5/14enterprise operations agents, agent builders, multi-agent platforms
Boomi's claim is that agents are only as good as the data and connections behind them, and that it already owns that plumbing. Agentstudio adds design, governance and orchestration on top of thousands of existing connectors and API management, with an agent control tower over the fleet.

10. Coworker
12.5/14enterprise operations agents, agent builders
Coworker's Organizational Memory indexes connected tools into a permission aware knowledge graph of atomic facts and relationships, so agents carry accurate company context across more than fifty read and write connectors. Model routing and approval gates round out a platform built around context quality rather than agent count.

11. CrowdStrike
12.5/14agent builders, multi-agent platforms
CrowdStrike qualifies here on secondary category membership rather than as a general purpose platform, and the reason is worth stating: Charlotte AI is an agentic analyst layer woven through the Falcon platform, with agent building and multi agent coordination documented against the same taxonomy as every other vendor. Buyers shortlisting a horizontal build platform will want the four above it; buyers whose agent programme starts in the SOC should not skip it.

12. Pydantic AI
12.5/14agent infrastructure platforms
Pydantic AI brings the type discipline its parent library is known for to agent construction, with model flexibility and observability through Logfire. Open source and free, it is the framework tier option for Python teams that want validation and tracing to be structural rather than bolted on.

13. Rasa
12.5/14multi-agent platforms
Rasa's CALM approach separates concerns deliberately: a language model handles understanding while dialogue logic stays explicit and inspectable, which is the opposite of hand labelling intents and also the opposite of letting a model improvise. Full channel coverage with self hosted or SaaS deployment, and one of the longest track records in the field.

14. Sim
12.5/14agent builders, multi-agent platforms
Sim is an open source workspace where the same agent workflow can be built visually, described conversationally through Mothership, or written in code, without forcing a team to pick one mode up front. The highest scoring option in the index for teams that want a canvas and an escape hatch to code in the same product.

15. SimplAI
12.5/14multi-agent platforms, agent builders, agent infrastructure platforms
SimplAI positions itself as an operating system for agents and is the only platform in this list that documents cloud, on premises and air gapped deployment together. A no code builder and visual canvas sit over multi agent orchestration, memory, retrieval grounding and multi model routing, with agents published to REST, webhooks, embeds, MCP and A2A.

How to shortlist from here
A coverage score says what a vendor has documented, not what it is like to run. Use this page to build the shortlist, then use the comparison matrices to see any two platforms side by side across all 14 axes, the lane rankings for the full ordered field in a single category, and pricing research, which covers all 984 vendors including the majority that publish no price at all. If the requirement is a specific control rather than a category, the capability pages show which vendors document each axis. Buyers looking for the wider field rather than the platform tier should start at the AI agent directory.
Questions buyers ask
What are the best agentic AI platforms in 2026?
By verified capability coverage on the Agentic Index, the best agentic AI platforms in 2026 are UiPath at 13.5 out of 14, then Automation Anywhere, CrewAI, Salesforce and ServiceNow at 13, followed by Agno, Appian, Atomicwork, Boomi, Coworker, CrowdStrike, Pydantic AI, Rasa, Sim and SimplAI at 12.5. Every one of the 565 platforms in the index is scored on documented public evidence across the same 14 capabilities, and no vendor pays for placement.
What counts as an agentic AI platform rather than an AI agent?
A platform is where agents are built, orchestrated and governed. An agent does one job. On this page a vendor qualifies as an agentic AI platform if it sits in any of four horizontal lanes: enterprise operations, multi agent platforms, agent builders, or agent infrastructure. 565 of the 984 vendors in the index qualify. Vertical products such as a support agent or a scribe are ranked in their own lanes instead.
How is this ranking calculated?
Mechanically, from documented public evidence. Each vendor is graded Full, Partial or Unable to verify on 14 buyer facing capabilities under the Agentic Index verification standard, those grades are summed into an Agentic Index coverage score out of 14, and ties break alphabetically. Every qualifying platform scoring 12.5 or higher appears here, which is a threshold rather than a curated count, so no tie is split to hit a round number. Index data was last verified on August 8, 2026.
Why are there no scores out of 14 at the top of the list?
No vendor documents all 14 axes. The highest verified score in the platform field is 13.5. A high score means a vendor has published evidence a buyer can check, not that a product is better in use, and a vendor that markets autonomy while documenting none of it scores accordingly. That is the difference between a coverage score and a review.
Is this list sponsored or paid?
No. No vendor pays for placement on the Agentic Index, there are no affiliate links, and vendors cannot buy a position or a score. The ranking is computed from 13,776 documented capability assessments and recomputes as research is verified, so the order on this page can change between visits.
