Suki is a voice first clinical assistant that pairs ambient documentation with an interactive command layer over the EHR. Founded in 2017 by Punit Soni, previously of Google and Flipkart, the company positions its flagship Suki Assistant as more than a scribe: clinicians can dictate, capture visits ambiently, or issue voice commands to order medications, navigate charts, query patient records, stage orders for review, and pull schedules, a hands free workflow no passive scribe matches. The product handles ICD-10, E/M, and HCC coding assistance, chart aware clinical Q&A that answers patient specific questions, pre visit patient summaries, and documentation in a large set of languages, with reported volume of roughly 125,000 consults per week.

EHR reach is a core strength. Suki maintains deep bidirectional integrations with Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth, MEDITECH, and Elation, with an EHR Partnership Program extending to MEDENT, Azalea Health, and WellSky, and deploys faster than heavier enterprise vendors, often in weeks. In 2024 the company launched Suki Platform, which lets other healthcare software vendors embed Suki's voice and ambient capabilities inside their own products, an extensibility play unusual for the category. Security posture includes HIPAA compliance with Business Associate Agreements, encryption, access controls, and audit logs; audio and transcripts are deleted after 30 days by default.

Suki publishes no pricing. Third party trade coverage and reseller listings consistently place Suki Compose, the documentation tier, near $299 per provider per month and Suki Assistant near $399, with enterprise contracts reported at $350 to $500 plus, setup fees of roughly $500 to $2,000 per practice, and annual commitments standard. That makes Suki the most expensive scribe in the lane by list estimates, more than double most competitors. The premium buys the voice command layer and EHR depth: for organizations that want an ambient intelligence layer over the EHR rather than a note generator, Suki is the most mature option; for documentation alone, cheaper tools cover the core job.
