What counts as full coverage
Full coverage means the platform itself carries the control flow, with documented branching, retries or routing across multiple steps. Partial typically means linear chains with no error path, or orchestration that exists only inside a single packaged use case. A framework that expects you to write the loop in your own code is graded on what it documents, not on what you could build with it.
How to read these numbers
The lane split is the finding. Every multi agent platform in the index documents full orchestration, which is close to a definition of the category, while agent infrastructure sits at 47 percent, the lowest rate of any lane on this axis. That gap is not a quality judgment: infrastructure vendors ship runtimes, gateways and observability, and deliberately leave the control flow to your application. If you are buying a framework and expecting the vendor to own retries and branching, this is the axis where that assumption breaks.

Questions buyers ask
Is orchestration the same as multi agent coordination?
No. This axis covers control flow inside one agent workflow. Coordinating several specialized agents is a category rather than an axis, and the multi agent platform lane is where those vendors are ranked.
Why do some frameworks score partial?
Because they document primitives rather than an orchestrator. Retries and branching that you implement yourself in application code are real engineering, but they are not vendor documented coverage.
What should I test in a trial?
Failure behaviour. Ask what happens when step four times out: whether the run resumes, restarts, escalates or silently ends is the difference between a demo and a production workflow.
