Bizagi
Also known as: Bizagi Studio, Bizagi Modeler
Low code process automation platform on Azure where AI agents, built from prompts or industry templates, run as steps in processes, call connectors and MCP servers, draw on enterprise knowledge and hand work to people through supervised AI Workers.
Bizagi sells a low code business orchestration platform used by banks, insurers, manufacturers and government agencies, with DHL Group among its customers at 5 million cases a year. Processes are modeled in BPMN in the free Bizagi Modeler, built into applications in Bizagi Studio, and run in Bizagi's cloud automation service, where people work cases in a portal.
AI agents are prompts with defined inputs and outputs mapped to the process data model, written with help from Bizagi Copilot or started from templates for banking and investments (13), customer service (7) and manufacturing and retail (10). An agent runs as an action on an AI task when a case reaches it, from a form button or inside a data pipeline, and AI Actions let it call the project's connectors, SAP BTP connectors and MCP servers on its own to gather data, act in other systems or start processes.
Enterprise Knowledge catalogs index files and Bizagi entity data for retrieval while agents run. AI Workers take on tasks people would normally do, prefilling forms and making calls in supervised, conditional or autonomous modes and explaining their reasoning for a person to check. Agents run on Azure OpenAI, with the model picked for each agent from OpenAI's current models, including reasoning models with a set reasoning level, and with inputs of up to 500,000 characters and a four minute time limit.
Pricing is consumption based with unlimited users and apps in a subscription, AI use draws down AI BPUs against a limit, and figures come in a brochure and quotes. Bizagi holds ISO 27001:2022, its US government cloud is FedRAMP Moderate, and independent reviews found the cloud meets HIPAA requirements. Sign in uses SAML, OAuth or LDAP with two factor authentication and role based administration. Each customer gets a dedicated Azure environment in the US, EU, Asia or US Government geography it picks at onboarding.
Bizagi fits enterprises in regulated industries that want AI steps added to governed processes by business analysts working in low code, with templates to start from and a choice of geography. It fits less well for a team that wants to pick its own model provider, test agents against saved test sets before release, or see list prices before talking to sales.

Integrations
Connectors already set up in a project, SAP BTP connectors and MCP servers reached over server sent events become AI Actions an agent calls on its own, up to 100 actions in all. Processes also hand work to RPA bots from partners such as Automation Anywhere, and outside systems start and query cases through the OData API.
In practice
A bank's incident desk is buried in customer complaints. An AI agent built from a banking template categorizes and prioritizes each incident on an AI task, and the case lands in the right queue in the work portal.
A procurement team is comparing supplier bids. An agent built from the RFx template summarizes and compares the responses, pulls vendor history from the ERP connector through an AI Action, and a buyer reviews the result before award.
An operations team wants claim forms prefilled without losing control. An AI Worker in supervised mode fills the form from the attached files, explains its reasoning and hands it to an adjuster to check and submit.

Agents act through AI Actions. A builder links connectors already set up in the project, SAP BTP connectors or MCP servers reached over server sent events, picks which of their actions the agent may use and writes the goal into the prompt, and the agent decides when to call each one, with up to 100 actions in total. MCP servers authenticate with an API key sent as Basic, Bearer or a custom header. Agents can gather more data, act in outside systems and start processes in Bizagi or third party systems this way. Agents run inside BPMN processes built in Bizagi Studio, as an action on an AI task that fires when a case enters or leaves it, from a button on a form, from entity forms or inside data pipelines, and Master and Persona entities can now run an agent as an Entity Action with its own input and output mappings. Several agents can run in one process, side by side or one after another, and their outputs map to typed fields in the data model, so later steps, business rules and people use them like any other case data. Enterprise Knowledge holds catalogs that are processed, indexed and served through retrieval augmented generation while agents run, kept in a vector database that serves retrieval and never trains a model. File Knowledge builds a catalog from content extracted from documents and serves AI Agents, AI Workers and the Ask Ada assistant, and Bizagi Data Knowledge builds one from records stored in Bizagi entities for AI Agents. Catalogs sit in categories in Studio's AI Hub and are reindexed after a deployment or update. Agents can also find conceptually similar past cases without exact keyword matches, and the knowledge can extend or replace an agent's default instructions with a company's guidelines and procedures. AI Workers take on tasks people would normally do in one of three modes. In supervised processing the worker does as much of the task as it can and hands it to a person to review or finish, conditional processing follows rules the customer sets to decide when it works alone, and autonomous processing falls back to a person whenever it cannot finish. Each decision comes with its reasoning for a person to check, and agent outputs land in form fields that people review before a case moves on. Sourcebizagi.com/en/platform/ai-workersread 2026-10-13 |

Tracing in the Management Console records AI agent invocations, the requests and responses of the connectors an agent calls, tagged with the case number, and the responses AI Workers produce, at error, warning or information level, and AI Workers show the rationale behind each decision. Traces are kept for 90 days and are meant for troubleshooting, with the platform's audit and accountability controls kept apart from them. An AI consumption report traces usage to processes, tasks, entities and applications and shows the models and tokens behind each execution, and an AI Metrics dashboard tracks agent use over time by process and by agent. Each agent call works from inputs mapped from the case and the knowledge catalogs attached to it, and writes its outputs back to case fields, so the case carries the state while it runs. Inputs can run to 500,000 characters, so whole documents and long case histories can be passed in on each call. An agent keeps no memory of its own that it reads from one case to the next. An agent on an AI task runs whenever a case reaches that task, with no one asking. Cases themselves start from a timer start event on a schedule, from a message or signal thrown by another process, from events Bizagi consumes off Kafka topics, or from a person in the work portal, and AI Jobs in the Management Console schedule and monitor AI work on their own. Agents can in turn trigger events that start processes in Bizagi or in other systems, and processes can publish events back to Kafka. Agents run on Azure OpenAI through Bizagi's private GPT service. For each agent a builder picks a model from those OpenAI currently offers, which change with OpenAI's updates and deprecations, choosing between direct response models and reasoning models with a set reasoning level, and tunes temperature, top p, frequency penalty and presence penalty. Files as inputs need GPT 4o or a newer model. Every choice stays within OpenAI's models, with no option to bring another maker's model or a customer's own deployment. The Bizagi API is a RESTful service on OData 4.0 with OAuth 2 bearer tokens, so outside applications can start cases for a process, search cases and work with process data. A JSON file in Swagger 2.0 and OpenAPI 3.0 format describes every OData endpoint for middleware, a full service index lists them, and examples include C# code. Since the Summer 2026 release a REST API also exports and imports deployments, so a team can automate releases from its own pipeline, and API traces can be switched on for debugging. Builders try an agent in a Test Prompt window, which runs one input file at a time, shows which actions the agent called, and can differ from what happens at run time. AI Workers in supervised mode learn from each user after the 50th interaction on a task, building a personal policy from that user's behavior and feedback, and a team can switch that reinforcement learning on or off per task. Bizagi has retired its Autotesting tool, and there is no saved test set, quality gate or measure of how the learning changes results before an agent goes live. Pricing
Consumption based subscription · unlimited users and apps · quoted through sales
consumption based subscription
Included quota
A subscription places no limit on the number of users or apps and can include suppliers and partners. Consumption allowances are set in the quote, and AI agents and AI Workers draw down AI BPUs against a limit.
What is public
The pricing model is public, consumption based with unlimited users and apps, and the Modeler is free. Rates and the consumption unit are not.
Billing mechanics
The platform is sold as a consumption based subscription that starts small and scales with use. Users and apps are unlimited, so cost tracks usage, not head count. AI use is metered in AI BPUs against a limit, and a consumption report shows the models and tokens behind each execution.
Cost watchouts
Consumption pricing means volume drives the bill, and the measure Bizagi meters is set out only in the gated brochure and the quote.
Variable cost rationale
Spend follows platform consumption, not seats, so cost grows with case and automation volume while adding users costs nothing extra.
Additional watchouts
High availability is included in the license price, but the consumption unit and its rates only appear in a quote.
Overage / add-ons
No overage terms are public.
Sales call required
Yes, required for paid access
Free / trial
Free Bizagi Modeler for process diagrams, with the automation platform quoted
Lowest paid plan
No public price. The platform is a consumption based subscription quoted through sales.
Commercial notes
Clients in Colombia buying Bizagi Cloud Services apply a 10% withholding tax under that country's significant economic presence rules.
Key ambiguities
The consumption unit's rates are not public and the pricing brochure sits behind a form. AI use is counted in AI BPUs against a limit, and how that limit is sized and priced appears only in a quote.
Support SLA / resale
The cloud carries a 99.9% uptime SLA with high availability across availability zones included in the license price, a 5 minute recovery point and a 3 hour recovery time.
Missing data
No rate, tier or AI BPU allowance is public, and nothing says what an AI BPU costs.
