Shapes, formerly DreamTeam, is a Tel Aviv company building what it calls the first AI native PeopleOS, an operating system for people operations spanning HR, IT, and Finance. Founded by Arnon Nir and Shirley Baumer, both founding team members at monday.com, it announced twenty four million dollars in combined Seed and Series A funding in December 2025, with the Series A led by Entree Capital, and already serves hundreds of customers across seventy nine countries and fourteen industries, an unusual scale for its stage.

The premise is that despite roughly five thousand HR tools on the market, most are rigid, pre boxed with fixed modules, and cannot keep pace with the constant change of the AI era. Shapes is built instead as a modular operating system that molds to an organization's own structure, workflows, and culture. AI is baked into everything: agents carry the admin load and run entire people workflows end to end, from onboarding to reporting to answering employee questions, and because they know the org, its processes, and context, they surface what needs attention proactively before someone thinks to ask. Employees can request time off from anywhere, clock in remotely, or get company policy and HR answers through an AI agent, while HR teams create time off and performance policies, run review cycles that turn feedback into insights, and calculate payroll hours, with retention and salary analytics, DEI tracking, engagement, and documentation all in one system. A defining trait is buildability: with all people data in Shapes, users build any dashboard or internal tool in plain language, and internal teams or external developers can build new apps and AI agents on the platform's SDK, so customers install only what they need and extend the rest. The result is positioned as a living PeopleOS that runs the full employee lifecycle while adapting to each organization rather than forcing conformity, competing against HiBob, Rippling, and Gusto.
