Pine AI
Also known as: 19Pine
Autonomous consumer agent that makes calls, sends emails, and uses the computer to negotiate bills and disputes.
Pine AI is an autonomous consumer assistant that takes on the customer-service tasks most people dread, what its founders call digital chores. Instead of giving advice, it acts on the user's behalf: negotiating bills, canceling unwanted subscriptions, filing complaints, disputing charges, and recovering refunds and fees.
To do this it operates across real-world channels. Pine makes phone calls, waits on hold, navigates phone menus, sends emails, fills out forms, navigates websites, handles identity verification, and follows up persistently across multi-step interactions until a task is resolved. The user states a goal in plain language and Pine researches the account, plans a strategy, executes, and reports back.
The company built its own voice model and an orchestration framework purpose-trained on customer-service scenarios so it can manage long-running tasks end-to-end. It exposes two surfaces: Pine Voice, which places real calls, and Pine Assistant, which runs full tasks, and it offers developer access through an SDK, an MCP server, and agent plugins. It is commonly used against telecom, insurance, banking, travel, and subscription providers.
Pine emphasizes privacy and security, with encrypted and ephemeral data handling, user authorization for each call, and alignment with SOC 2, GDPR, and CCPA. Founded in late 2024 by CEO Stanley Wei and CTO Vincent Sun, it is available on iOS, Android, and the web, and is sold self-serve via a subscription that includes monthly credits.

In practice
You've been meaning to fight a wrong charge for three weeks but can't face the hold music. Pine makes the call, waits on hold, works through the phone menu, and follows up until it's resolved.
You're paying for subscriptions you forgot you had. Tell Pine what to cancel and it handles the cancellation flow, including the retention offers built to keep you on.
Your internet bill crept up again. Pine negotiates with the provider using competitor pricing and reports back with what it got.

6.0 / 14 capabilities · 43%
| Integrations & Tool CallingActs in the real world by placing phone calls, sending emails, filling forms, and logging into service websites to complete tasks, real action taking, though it lacks a broad library of named business application connectors and misses common integrations like calendar. | Partial |
|---|---|
| Workflow OrchestrationBuilt its own orchestration framework for long running multi step tasks, so from a single goal it researches the account, plans a strategy, calls, emails, verifies identity, and follows up across multiple stakeholders until resolved, genuine autonomous orchestration. | Full |
| Knowledge Grounding & RAGResearches the specific account and issue to plan a negotiation strategy, but it does not expose a retrieval or knowledge grounding layer with citations, so knowledge grounding is not a documented capability. | Unable to verify |
| Human Oversight & GuardrailsRequires the user to approve every action before it is taken and acts only as an authorized representative for limited task execution, real human oversight, though not a runtime guardrail enforcement engine. | Partial |
| Security, Identity & GovernanceEncrypts user data and limits retention with consumer privacy commitments, but published certifications, single sign on, role based access, and enterprise governance controls are not documented. | Unable to verify |
| Observability & AuditabilityReturns full call transcripts, keeps session history, and tracks and reports progress on each task, real run visibility, though not a full analytics or tracing platform. | Partial |
| Memory & State PersistencePersists task sessions with history and keeps pushing, escalating, and following up over time without forgetting, real long running state, though not a dedicated cross task memory product. | Partial |
| Deployment & Data ResidencyRuns as a consumer cloud service with mobile applications, and self hosting, on premises, or a private customer controlled deployment is not offered, so deployment and data residency control is not available. | Unable to verify |
| Prebuilt Agents, Templates & PacksShips reusable playbooks for supported jobs such as bill negotiation, subscription cancellation, refunds, and disputes with proven scripts and escalation tactics, real task packs, though without a browsable marketplace. | Partial |
| Triggers & Channel CoverageIs invoked by typing or speaking in its app and through a developer command line, and acts across voice calls, email, and web, multiple channels, though without documented scheduled or external event triggers. | Partial |
| Model Flexibility & RoutingDeveloped its own voice model rather than a standard speech to text pipeline and pairs it with reasoning models in its orchestration, real multi model use by role, though user facing choice or routing across providers is not offered. | Partial |
| APIs, SDKs & MCP ExtensibilityOffers a developer platform that exposes its voice and assistant capabilities through a Model Context Protocol server, a software development kit, and a command line, so other agents and tools can call it, a first class extensibility surface. | Full |
| Testing, Debugging & OptimizationPersistently retries and escalates until a task succeeds and says it improves through machine learning, but a dedicated testing, debugging, or evaluation engine is not documented. | Unable to verify |
| Browser & Computer UseUses a computer to log into websites, fill forms, and submit disputes on the user behalf as part of completing tasks, real browser and computer actions, though it is task scoped rather than a general purpose web navigation agent, and voice calling is its headline. | Partial |
