Logility's product page says that once approved, agents execute across connected systems, adjusting plans, reallocating inventory and reprioritizing shipments, and the release says the layer can manage and integrate a wide range of third party solutions.

How that happens is not documented: there is no named integration catalog, no custom tool support and no authenticated action framework. The Data Management page documents the inbound path (net change ERP, big data and IoT synchronization with mappings, with SAP named by a customer), which brings data in rather than giving agents a way to act.

The Data Management platform page documents a maintained master data layer over the customer's supply chain data: ERP, big data and IoT sources integrated through a net change synchronization that captures only what changed since the last update, parallel distributed in memory processing, data transformation and error checking, and standard software kept separate from localized mappings, with SAP named by a customer as a source.

The Orchestration Center release describes that layer as the shared data and decisioning layer across all connected systems from which the agents act, and the product page has them continuously ingesting from it. This is structured operational data rather than an unstructured document index, and no embeddings or graph layer is described.

Logility has been an Aptean company since the acquisition closed on 4 April 2025, so Aptean's own pages speak for it. The Aptean homepage FAQ states Aptean's solutions comply with SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, with regular third party audits and ongoing penetration testing. The Stand Out block on the same page hedges ISO 27001 and NIST 800 to 'controls from', so SOC 2 Type II is the plainly asserted attestation while ISO 27001 is asserted in one place and hedged in another. The Aptean Trust Center at trust.aptean.com runs on Vanta.

No SSO, SAML, SCIM or named access model is documented for the Logility suite or AppCentral, and product documentation sits behind the AppCentral console login. The 'governance, approvals and audit controls' in Orchestration Center are oversight and audit features rather than an access model. The attestation is asserted for Aptean's solutions group wide and DemandAI+ ships on AppCentral, but the audit scope of the Logility planning suite itself is not stated.

Orchestration Center's product page states agents execute approved actions with full governance, approvals and audit controls, in a unified workspace where people review events, guide AI decisions, approve actions and track execution progress. The AppCentral section of Aptean's privacy statement records that AI features log limited audit trails.

Those are Logility's own records of what the agent did, not audit inherited from the customer's systems. No trace or log surface, retention period or record of the agent's reasoning is documented: 'audit controls' and 'limited audit trails' say a record exists, and tracking execution progress shows what happened rather than why. Scenario simulation showing trade offs is decision support before the action, not audit of it.

Neither the Orchestration Center, AppCentral and Data Management pages nor the DemandAI+ release document a memory layer with a stated scope and lifetime. The master data layer is the application's data model, which grounds the agents rather than serving as memory. Agents that 'automatically improve with every cycle' and a platform that 'captures expert input while embedding best-practice decision logic' describe learning absorbed into the product, not a memory store.

Hosting sits in one fixed place with nothing for the buyer to choose. Aptean's privacy statement, the policy the Logility footer links to, says Aptean primarily stores personal data in the United States, with transfers out of the EEA, UK and Switzerland covered by adequacy decisions, SCCs and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The Aptean homepage FAQ names Microsoft Azure as the hosting cloud, with continuous backups and redundant servers. No region list, customer environment option (VPC, on premises, customer tenant) or way to select a region is published, and DPF and SCCs are legal cover rather than residency. The Data Processing Agreement sits inside the customer contract and is not published.

DemandAI+ ships on AppCentral with a named set of prebuilt agents ready to activate on day one, covering forecast accuracy, historical data retrieval, trend detection and flagging training opportunities. The customer deploys each one and sets it to run autonomously or under supervision. The AppCentral page on logility.com is marketing only and carries no browsable catalog, and the four agents are functions within one product line, though each does a distinct job a planner can turn on without the others. Building beyond the set means working with Logility experts as a managed service.

What if scenario simulation tests candidate supply chain responses, so what gets tested is the plan, not the agent. No evaluation harness, scored test cases, release gate or controlled experiment after deployment is documented for the agents. The claim that agents 'automatically improve with every cycle' comes with no documented loop, and the 2 to 5 percent margin figure is a marketing claim. The approval gate before execution checks each action rather than a change to the agents.
