Jedox
Also known as: Jedox AG, jedox.com, JedoxAI, Jedox MCP
Planning and performance management platform on an in memory OLAP database whose JedoxAI Reporting and Knowledge Agents analyze cubes and build Dynatable reports from plain language, with a Jedox MCP add on that lets Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot build dimensions, hierarchies, planning logic and reports.
Jedox, led by chief executive Florian Winterstein and majority owned by the investment firm Insight Partners since 2021, sells a planning and performance management platform used for budgeting and forecasting, financial consolidation, cash flow, HR and workforce, sales and S&OP planning and ESG reporting. Its models run on the Jedox in memory OLAP database and are worked in Jedox Web, in Microsoft Excel and on mobile, with the Integrator handling extraction, transformation and loading from ERP, CRM and BI systems and a Marketplace of ready models and solution bundles. Henkell Freixenet, Agrogen and Terminix are among its customers.
JedoxAI has two agents in general availability. The Reporting Agent works from any planning cell, KPI card or Dynatable. Asked in plain language, it analyzes multidimensional cubes, finds the drivers behind a KPI, writes performance commentary and builds or updates a Dynatable report without starting over, with multi turn conversations, replay and a chat history users can reuse. The Knowledge Agent answers how to questions from the Jedox Knowledge Base and Academy and writes and reviews Integrator scripts.
AIssisted Planning wizards add machine learning forecasts, driver analysis, classification and data preparation. Jedox MCP, an add on to the Full Suite user license, connects ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude or a company's own agents to the planning model, so modelers can create a dimension, extend a hierarchy, write planning logic or build a report by describing it, under the user's own rights. It ships with a versioned Claude plugin of modeling cookbooks. Modeling, Planning and further Reporting Agents are announced for later.
Jedox sells Business, Professional and Professional Plus packages by quote, built from Full Users, Planners and Viewers, and AIssisted Planning comes with the Professional package. It is audited annually for ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, SOC 2 Type 2 and CSA STAR Levels 1 and 2, supports SAML single sign on, and controls access through users, groups, roles and rights.
Jedox Cloud runs on Microsoft Azure in a region the customer chooses across the United States, Canada, the European Union, the UK, Switzerland, the UAE, Israel, Australia, Southeast Asia and Japan, and an unmanaged private cloud deploys Jedox into a customer's own Kubernetes cluster. JedoxAI runs in Jedox's Azure environment on the Azure OpenAI Service.
Jedox fits a finance or operations team that wants a flexible multidimensional planning model, a choice of hosting region or its own infrastructure, and an open door for outside AI assistants to build in that model. It fits less well a team that wants agents of the platform's own to change budgets and models, or one that wants to choose the model behind JedoxAI.

Integrations
The Jedox Integrator loads data from ERP, CRM, HR and BI systems, with connectors to systems such as SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics, and a VPN gateway reaches on premises sources. Jedox offers an OData API, a REST API for its in memory OLAP database, PHP and Java libraries and Integrator scripting in Groovy, JavaScript and Python. The Jedox MCP add on connects ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude and custom agents.
In practice
A controller sees operating margin slip in a monthly KPI card. She right clicks it, asks the Reporting Agent for data insights, and gets the key drivers by region and product with commentary she can reuse in the management report.
An analyst needs an ad hoc view of sales by product line against forecast. She asks in plain language, the Reporting Agent builds the Dynatable, and a follow up question adds the region breakdown without rebuilding the report.
A Jedox modeler has a new cost center structure to load. Working in Claude with the Jedox MCP add on, he describes the hierarchy, and the dimension is created in the planning model under his own rights.
An Integrator developer is stuck on a Groovy job. The Knowledge Agent explains the error, suggests a corrected snippet and points to the matching Knowledge Base article.

The Integrator extracts, transforms and loads data from ERP, CRM and BI systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics, with a VPN gateway for sources on premises, and Power BI and Tableau read the results. JedoxAI works on the cubes that data fills. Its agents analyze, report and write scripts inside Jedox, and none of them updates a record or sends anything in the source systems, so outward action is left to whatever assistant a team connects over MCP. Multistep work in Jedox runs as Integrator jobs, written in Groovy or JavaScript or chained as loop and external jobs, and as workflow tasks the Workflow Wizard builds on a cube slice for planning rounds. JedoxAI's agents take one request at a time, in a conversation, and hand the result back. A plan that strings several modeling steps together, such as mapping a raw file and proposing a model structure, is carried out by the outside assistant connected over MCP. The Reporting Agent reads the live OLAP cubes a company plans in, using dimension types, default read elements and name attributes set in the Modeler, so it can refer to entities and accounts by their everyday names and compare versions. The Knowledge Agent draws on the Jedox Knowledge Base, Jedox Academy, consultant best practices and beginner material to guide users through fields, configurations and errors. Over MCP, outside assistants get the same governed planning structures and business logic. Sourceknowledgebase.jedox.com/jedox/ai/jedoxai-reporting.htmread 2026-10-13 |

AI reaches only the planning structures and data the user's rights allow, through JedoxAI and through MCP alike. MCP interactions that act, run a workflow or write back are meant to stay inside the company's approval processes and human oversight, and Jedox's own demo ends with a proposed model structure set out for review. A step where Jedox itself holds an AI change until someone approves it has no setup or setting behind it. Sourcejedox.com/en/platform/mcpread 2026-10-13 |

SAML single sign on lets users sign in with their corporate identity, and access runs through users, groups, roles and rights down to cubes, dimensions and elements, which JedoxAI and MCP both respect. Jedox is audited every year by an independent firm for ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, SOC 1, SOC 2 Type 2 and CSA STAR Levels 1 and 2, covers GDPR, and offers a penetration test attestation letter for its 26.1 release along with a SOC 2 bridge letter through June 2026. | Observability & Auditability | Partial |
|
Jedox Audit records every cube data entry with its user, cell coordinates, value and type of entry, and a database audit trails added, deleted and renamed dimensions and cubes and layout changes, each shown only to users with the right to see that data. JedoxAI keeps a chat history and can replay a query. Neither view gathers what an agent did in a session into a record of its own, so tracing an AI change means reading the audit log. Conversations run over several turns, and a chat history kept across Jedox components lets a user reopen and reuse an earlier analysis instead of asking again, or replay a query to regenerate it. A Dynatable can be updated by a follow up question without restating its context. No setting governs how long that history lasts, and nothing holds a team's preferences or facts for later conversations. Sourceknowledgebase.jedox.com/jedox/ai/jedoxai.htmread 2026-10-13 |

A person starts every JedoxAI conversation. The Reporting Agent opens from Ask JedoxAI on a planning cell, a KPI card, a report or a Dynatable, and the Knowledge Agent from the Jedox homepage or the Integrator. Through MCP the same work can start in ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or Claude. Integrator jobs run on their own, yet nothing in Jedox wakes an agent on a schedule, a data change or an inbound message. JedoxAI runs inside Jedox's own Microsoft Azure environment on the Azure OpenAI Service, and no setting lets a customer choose or swap the model behind the Reporting or Knowledge Agent. The bring your own model option Jedox mentions shows up in practice as the statistical and regression models of the AIssisted Planning wizards. Teams that want their own assistant can point ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or Claude at Jedox through MCP, which leaves JedoxAI itself on Azure OpenAI.
