Island is the enterprise browser that turned into the enterprise control plane for AI agents. Its March 2026 Enterprise AI suite spans AI Protect (guardrails across web AI tools, desktop apps, extensions, and connectors, with corporate versus personal tenant separation, data boundaries enforced before content reaches AI providers, and audit logs of prompts, responses, and agent activity), AI Browser (multiple providers including ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and Gemini in one governed chat experience with RAG over corporate data and an ROI dashboard measuring agent time saved), AI Automation (build and run autonomous and semi autonomous agents with defined permissions on what they can access and execute, human approvals for sensitive steps like finance systems and customer records, and full audit trails, running in a hardened environment designed against prompt injection), and AI Publish for internal AI apps. Agents take governed actions via Island hosted or local MCP servers, with every MCP tool invocation logged with full context (who initiated it, which agent, which page, what data) and streamed to SIEM, while the DLP engine evaluates data flowing through MCP calls in real time. Users can record actions directly in the browser and Island converts them into reusable agent workflows via a visual builder and workflow library.
