AppFactor
Also known as: Appfactor.io, Appfactor.io Ltd
Agentic orchestration platform that autonomously maintains and modernises enterprise software, from discovery and refactoring to test generation and cloud deployment, gated by pull requests.
AppFactor is an agentic orchestration platform for autonomous maintenance and modernisation of enterprise software. Persistent, long running agents run across an organisation's entire application estate, discovering where software actually runs, fixing bugs, patching vulnerabilities, updating dependencies, refactoring, and rebuilding legacy code into cloud native, container or serverless targets, continuously rather than as a one off project. The platform interrogates running systems (not just source), mapping applications, dependencies, configuration and infrastructure into a durable context layer that every agent task draws on, and it keeps code documentation in sync on every change. Multi agent, multi step processes run with governance and controls: each task produces human readable success criteria, works through pull requests and existing code review, and passes approval gates before release, with auditability throughout the change pipeline. It generates tests from unit to end to end, runs system level validation, and can regenerate legacy code in Rust for memory safety and lower cost. Enterprise features include SSO and SAML, dedicated compute, and cloud agnostic deployment across AWS, Azure and GCP.

Pricing
Subscription tiers described as AppFactor Core and AppFactor Premium, priced on usage metrics such as endpoints or applications; no public rates.
usage metrics such as endpoints or applications across Core and Premium tiers
Cost watchouts
Cost scales with estate size; large or sprawling application estates could push into the Premium tier, and dedicated compute is an enterprise add on.
Variable cost rationale
Pricing is tied to usage metrics such as endpoints or applications, so cost scales with the size of the application estate under management.
Sales call required

Key ambiguities
Tier names are known but no public rates exist and the exact usage metric that drives price (endpoints versus applications) is not fully specified.
