Apaleo

Apaleo is an open, API first property management platform for hospitality that has pivoted hard into agentic AI, positioning itself as the infrastructure layer for what it calls the autonomous hotel. It powers more than two thousand properties in over thirty countries and rejects the all in one PMS model in favor of a modular stack where hoteliers plug in, swap, and build tools for reservations, payments, guest messaging, pricing, and AI agents, paying only for what they use without vendor lock in. It raised twenty million euros in growth funding led by PSG Equity after extending its Series A.

Apaleo's agentic strategy has three pillars. Agent Hub, which it calls the world's first AI agent marketplace for hospitality launched in 2025, is a vendor neutral space where hoteliers and developers build, discover, and share AI agents, so a hotel can effectively hire agents for pricing, sales, guest messaging, or onboarding and deploy them in hours rather than weeks, from voice agents that handle end to end bookings to chat agents that modify reservations and update invoices. Its MCP Server, which Apaleo says made it the first property management platform in hospitality to ship one, brings Anthropic's Model Context Protocol across its entire open platform so agents can carry out complex, cross system tasks without custom integrations, shifting hoteliers from coding to describing intent. The Agent Factory is a collaborative, co funded concept that gives developers standards and interfaces to build agents and supports hoteliers from first integration toward fully autonomous operation. The end state Apaleo describes is an agentic mesh where reservation, housekeeping, and maintenance agents coordinate via agent to agent communication while staff stay on the host layer delivering personal guest experiences.

Apaleo fits technology forward hotels, groups, and serviced apartment operators that want an open, agent ready operational backbone rather than a closed all in one PMS. It is a weaker fit for operators wanting a turnkey bundled suite, and its role in this index is as the operational and infrastructure layer beneath hospitality agents as much as an agent itself.
