Observability / auditability
A new Variables tab in Synthflow's call logs shows the value each variable held on a specific call, covering system variables, variables set before the call, collected variables and inbound SIP headers. It also lists every action's inputs and outputs on that call, including transfer SIP headers.
Teams debugging a voice agent can see exactly what data it sent to and received from each action on a call, instead of piecing it together from transcripts and webhook payloads.
Integrations
Synthflow announced official integrations with Claude and Five9, alongside new capabilities for live call monitoring, WebSocket media, and background audio. The release coincided with Synthflow being named a Pioneering company in the CMP Prism for Voicebot and Conversational IVR. The company also migrated its status page to a new platform for improved incident reporting.
Enterprise buyers can now leverage Claude models and integrate directly with Five9 contact centers, expanding deployment flexibility. The CMP recognition provides third-party validation of the platform's market position for teams evaluating voice AI vendors.
MCP / tool calling / API
Synthflow introduced the ability to play background audio while custom actions and individual Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools are running. This feature provides callers with auditory feedback while slower requests are processing.
This improves the end-user experience by preventing dead air during lengthy backend operations. It reduces caller abandonment rates and makes the voice agent feel more responsive.

Where can I find a single feed of agentic AI platform updates?
This page is that feed. Agentic Index reviews vendor blogs, changelogs, documentation and press materials every week and files what materially changed, so keeping up with changes to AI agent platforms is one page rather than several hundred.
