Agent capability

A rebuilt Moveworks Assistant experience in Slack began rolling out on October 19 to early customers, with sandbox access for everyone else and general availability set for October 29. Answers stream in, a collapsible plan shows the steps the Assistant is taking, and admins can add Work Objects ticket cards that employees act on inside Slack and per channel limits on which plugins run.

Slack first organizations get visible agent steps and in chat ticket actions, and admins gain per channel control over what the Assistant may run. Microsoft Teams is unchanged.

Integrations

Moveworks began rolling out an upgraded content ingestion system that reevaluates discovered content against changed filters every 15 minutes without repeating full discovery and downloads. Full refreshes prioritize recently updated documents, and upgraded connectors expose failed API requests from the last 30 days directly in Data Crawling. The rollout proceeds by connector, requires no customer migration or configuration changes, and is scheduled to finish by October 31.

Administrators gain a more targeted way to diagnose source connector failures while changing content filters without a full reload. Teams should distinguish failed request counts from missing document counts and confirm which connectors have migrated before applying the new troubleshooting procedure.

Agent capability

Moveworks updated the default language model for LLM Actions within Agent Studio to GPT-5.4 mini. This upgrade automatically applies to newly configured actions to improve the baseline reasoning and generation capabilities of custom agents.

Builders using Agent Studio benefit from improved model performance and efficiency by default, reducing the need to manually select or tune models for standard enterprise workflows.

Observability / auditability

Moveworks added a new interaction type, INTERACTION_TYPE_USER_ATTESTATION, to its Data API. This update enables the tracking of user acknowledgment forms by capturing the user details, the specific form attested to, and the exact timestamp of acceptance.

Enterprise compliance and security teams can programmatically export and audit policy acknowledgments. This simplifies governance and ensures that mandatory employee attestations are properly recorded.

Integrations

Moveworks enhanced the New User Identity Journey in Moveworks Setup, allowing administrators to map internal fields using domain-specific language (DSL) or JSON-based mappings. The update pre-configures Microsoft Graph with default filters, adds cross-mapping capabilities for identity plumbing fields, and introduces a testing screen to preview custom attributes and geocodes before data ingestion.

These enhancements significantly reduce the complexity of integrating user identity data from systems like Microsoft Graph and ServiceNow. By previewing exact user profiles before ingestion, administrators can prevent misconfigurations and ensure more reliable access control and routing in the AI assistant.

Workflow orchestration

Moveworks published its mid-year product updates, highlighting a speed boost for Enterprise Search that includes improved accuracy and multilingual support. The release also showcases new access governance workflows in Agent Studio, enabling automated access approvals and reviews across systems like SailPoint and ServiceNow.
