Workflow orchestration
Workflows are now generally available in xpander's new chat interface, with no preview entitlement needed. Users can also create and edit an agent's schedules from inside any conversation, and xpander now manages scheduling for agents running on Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode.
Teams can build scheduled automations in the main app and schedule third party coding agents from the same place that governs them.
Human approval / guardrails
xpander.ai added a Secrets section that declares an agent's required credentials, validates personal connections, and resolves secrets on every turn. Its September 20 release also adds skill visibility scopes, grants for individual agents, and a public skill publishing API. Gated mode now holds web fetch and search calls for approval, with gated command editing available for Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode agents.
Administrators gain more explicit control over credential availability, reusable skills, and outbound web activity. Teams can apply approval policies across supported coding harnesses while keeping personal connections associated with the user.
Integrations
xpander introduced Slack Native AI Agents, allowing users to deploy custom AI agents directly into Slack workspaces. These agents can respond to mentions, maintain memory context across conversation threads, and execute real-time tool calls within the collaboration platform.
This integration allows teams to interact with governed AI agents directly within their existing communication workflows. It reduces friction for end users by bringing agentic capabilities, complete with secure authentication and memory, to the platform where employees already collaborate.
Security / enterprise
xpander released a platform update introducing External Vaults for Azure Key Vault integration and agent credential bindings. The release also adds human-in-the-loop approval workflows for individual tool calls, local MCP server support within agent workspaces, and an import and export contract for MCP clients like Claude Code.
Enterprise buyers can now enforce strict security and governance over agent actions by requiring human approval for specific tool executions and securely managing credentials via Azure Key Vault. The addition of local MCP servers and Claude Code interoperability provides developers with greater flexibility in how they build and deploy agentic workflows.

Common questions
How do I keep up with changes to AI agent platforms?
Read one maintained change log instead of tracking each vendor's release notes separately. The Agentic Index change log records 1648 verified updates across agentic AI platforms, updated weekly, covering new agent capabilities, MCP and tool calling changes, memory, human approval controls, observability, deployment options, pricing and funding. Every entry names the vendor, the date, the change type and an impact level, and links to that vendor's profile.
How often is the agentic AI change log updated?
Weekly. The most recent update was Oct 21, 2026, covering Equal AI, Kognitos, Findem.
How do I track changes for one specific AI agent vendor?
Filter the change log by vendor, or open that vendor's profile page, where the same verified entries appear alongside its capability coverage across the 14 point Agentic Index taxonomy.
Where can I find a single feed of agentic AI platform updates?
This page is that feed. Agentic Index reviews vendor blogs, changelogs, documentation and press materials every week and files what materially changed, so keeping up with changes to AI agent platforms is one page rather than several hundred. Entries are filterable by vendor, change type, impact level and verification status, and each one carries the evidence basis it was graded from. The same entries are published as a free RSS feed at agenticindex.io/feeds/changes.xml, with one feed per ranking category listed at agenticindex.io/use-this-data.
