Agent capability
Rippling relaunched Automated Compliance with multi framework support (SOC 2, ISO 27001 and HIPAA today), AI help setting up templated or custom frameworks or importing an existing program, and evidence collection from connected third party systems as well as Rippling's own HR and IT tools. It adds AI suggested remediations that admins can carry out, a built in audit portal, publishable trust centers and AI help with security questionnaires.
GRC teams can run several frameworks and close control gaps from the system that already holds HR, identity and device data, and Rippling positions it for mature programs whether or not the customer uses its other products. ISO 27701, ISO 42001, GDPR and PCI DSS templates are slated for December.
Security / enterprise
Rippling launched a new AI governance product and MCP gateway to manage agentic tool access. The release was announced alongside the mutual withdrawal of intellectual property lawsuits between Rippling and Runlayer regarding MCP gateway technology.
Organizations deploying AI agents can now natively govern model access and tool calling directly through Rippling's infrastructure. This provides a built-in alternative to third-party MCP gateways for securing enterprise AI deployments.
Observability / auditability
Rippling launched the AI Spend Console, a new tool designed to help companies track and control artificial intelligence token costs. The console provides CFOs and CTOs with permissioned dashboards to monitor AI spending at the individual and team levels, tie usage to business outcomes, and govern the use of approved LLMs.
Organizations deploying AI agents and LLMs can now gain granular visibility into their token consumption and associated costs. This enables finance and IT leaders to rein in unchecked AI spending, enforce usage policies, and accurately measure the return on investment for their AI initiatives.
Integrations
Rippling launched Data Cloud, a BI layer that ties third-party operational data to worker identities through new Data Connectors and Snowflake Zero Copy. Rippling AI turns natural-language prompts into inspectable SQL, charts, and workflows on top of that unified data.
Linking usage and operational data to employee records lets leaders attribute AI and tooling spend to actual output, while the unified data layer removes the manual pipeline work that usually precedes this kind of analytics.
