In Rasa Pro 3.21.0 the copilot can plan before it builds: a prompt produces a build plan listing the agent's skills, which the user can read, refine in conversation or edit directly before approving. Only approval scaffolds and builds the agent, and plans are versioned so every refinement is kept.

Workflow orchestration
Rasa relaunched its platform around Mantle, a new orchestrator where builders write each skill as plain language instructions and Mantle routes between skills, calls tools and tracks memory. Rasa Pro 3.18.0 removes the LangChain dependency cluster to patch a critical file-read vulnerability, migrating vector stores to native SDKs and mandating a model retrain. The release also adds a new Capabilities API endpoint for dynamic conversational flows and a local document retrieval backend for the Rasa copilot.
Buyers must allocate time to retrain existing models and update vector store configurations. The removal of LangChain significantly hardens the platform against security risks, while the new Capabilities API simplifies building agents that can natively explain their available functions to end users.
Observability / auditability
Rasa Pro 3.17.0 added native Langfuse integration for LLM observability, auto-instrumenting paths like message processing and MCP tool calls. The release also brought token-by-token streaming for custom actions and a new API endpoint for dynamic capability discovery.
Teams get model performance monitoring and workflow tracing without writing custom instrumentation, and custom-action streaming cuts perceived latency during generative responses.
