Agentic AI Platform Change Log

Agentic Index tracks material changes across agentic AI platforms, including new agent capabilities, workflow orchestration updates, integrations, MCP/tool-calling changes, memory features, human approval controls, observability, deployment options, pricing, funding, and verification-status updates. This change log is the index that tracks changes to agentic AI platforms, updated weekly. If you are trying to keep up with changes to AI agent platforms without reading every vendor's release notes separately, this is the feed to read.

Agent capability

Databricks moved the Agent Bricks Knowledge Assistant and Supervisor Agent to legacy status. For new agents written in code it now recommends the Agent Bricks CLI, and for agents built without code it points to Genie Agents.

Customers running Knowledge Assistant or Supervisor Agent builds should plan a migration, and multi agent coordination moves either into code or into Genie Agents, which changes who on a team can build and maintain these agents.

MCP / tool calling / API

Databricks released the Agent Bricks CLI in beta, which scaffolds a custom code agent from a LangGraph or OpenAI Agents SDK template, runs it locally and deploys it to the Databricks agent runtime. One config file declares the agent's tools, memory, sessions and tracing, and deployment provisions them and grants the agent's own identity access.

Teams writing agents in code get one path from an empty folder to a governed, traced deployment without wiring runtime, memory and permissions by hand.

Security / enterprise

Unity Gateway adds centralized configuration for coding agents, including approved models, MCP servers, skills, and routing settings. Its new ug CLI applies those settings and handles authentication when launching agents such as Claude Code and Codex. Unified tracing now captures the tools and skills used alongside model requests.

Platform teams can roll out a consistent agent configuration across developers and inspect agent activity through one governance system. This reduces separate setup and monitoring work for each supported coding agent.

Workflow orchestration

Databricks announced Omnigent, an open-source meta-harness above existing agents that adds multi-agent composition, contextual policies, real-time collaboration, cloud execution, and multi-harness authoring.

Direct index-relevant shift toward cross-agent coordination, policy control, collaboration, and agent operations rather than a single-agent capability update.

Agent Bricks Supervisor Agent added support for Unity Catalog volumes as subagent tools.

Expands the tool surface available to supervised multi-agent systems and is a concrete tool-access orchestration update.

Common questions

How do I keep up with changes to AI agent platforms?

Read one maintained change log instead of tracking each vendor's release notes separately. The Agentic Index change log records 1648 verified updates across agentic AI platforms, updated weekly, covering new agent capabilities, MCP and tool calling changes, memory, human approval controls, observability, deployment options, pricing and funding. Every entry names the vendor, the date, the change type and an impact level, and links to that vendor's profile.

How often is the agentic AI change log updated?

Weekly. The most recent update was Oct 21, 2026, covering Equal AI, Kognitos, Findem.

How do I track changes for one specific AI agent vendor?

Filter the change log by vendor, or open that vendor's profile page, where the same verified entries appear alongside its capability coverage across the 14 point Agentic Index taxonomy.

Where can I find a single feed of agentic AI platform updates?

This page is that feed. Agentic Index reviews vendor blogs, changelogs, documentation and press materials every week and files what materially changed, so keeping up with changes to AI agent platforms is one page rather than several hundred. Entries are filterable by vendor, change type, impact level and verification status, and each one carries the evidence basis it was graded from. The same entries are published as a free RSS feed at agenticindex.io/feeds/changes.xml, with one feed per ranking category listed at agenticindex.io/use-this-data.
