Workflow orchestration
Dust Default, the platform's default agent, can now create, update and remove any trigger type Dust supports, including scheduled runs and event based automations. Users describe the automation in conversation, such as a summary every Monday morning, and the agent sets up the trigger.
Scheduled and event driven agent work moves from a settings task to a conversational request, so teams can set up recurring work without builder access.
Security / enterprise
Each Pod in Dust now has its own settings for which network domains its agent sandboxes may reach and which variables and secrets they hold. Workspace admins edit them, and Pod members can view them and request changes.
Security teams can confine what an agent's code execution can reach and which credentials it holds to one team's Pod instead of granting them across the workspace.
Human approval / guardrails
Dust added controls for credit spend checkpoints on individual agents in Agent Builder and across the workspace in Usage settings. Admins and managers can configure the gate, which pauses an agent after a message consumes at least 600 LLM token credits and asks whether to continue.
Teams can require a human decision before expensive tasks consume more credits while allowing trusted agents to run without that interruption. Review which agents receive an exemption when setting spending policies.
Agent capability
Dust introduced the ability to configure agents to reply directly to inquiries. The update also adds support for GPT-5.6 skills and improves data access capabilities for teams.
The addition of GPT-5.6 allows organizations to utilize more advanced reasoning models for their custom agents. Furthermore, the new reply configuration enables more autonomous communication workflows without requiring manual intervention.
Integrations
Dust released a unified login system called 'The Computer' that bridges the dust.tt and eu.dust.tt environments. The update also introduces a new Modjo MCP integration for all workspaces and adds support for reactions and status updates to the existing Slack MCP.
Enterprise administrators benefit from streamlined access management across different regional data residency deployments. Additionally, the expanded MCP integrations allow agents to better interact with sales intelligence data and communicate more effectively within Slack.
MCP / tool calling / API
Dust released a significant update to its integration and agent capabilities, highlighted by making the platform available as a remote MCP server to allow access from any external MCP-capable client. The release also adds personal Zendesk account connections, a Lemlist MCP server for outbound prospecting, and AI-driven duplicate skill warnings during agent creation. Furthermore, Dust improved its Slack functionality to support agent reactions and status updates, and configured email interactions to keep entire threads within a single continuous conversation.
Enterprise teams can now embed their trusted AI agents and workspace knowledge directly into existing external tools via the remote MCP server, drastically reducing context switching. Deepened channel integrations with Slack, Zendesk, and Lemlist also empower organizations to automate more sophisticated workflows while ensuring seamless continuity in agent-led communications.
