DBOS Transact for Python 3.3.0 moves the DBOS Conductor client out of the open source library into a separate Enterprise package. Applications that use Conductor or DBOS Cloud must install the Enterprise dependency when upgrading, while users of only the open source library need no changes.

The release includes the production-ready DBOS Java v1.0, queryable workflow attributes via PostgreSQL JSONB, and significantly higher durable stream throughput. Additionally, DBOS added high-availability deployments for self-hosted Conductor and introduced DBOSify, a replacement framework for Temporal.

The launch of a stable Java library and high-availability self-hosted deployments makes the platform viable for strict enterprise environments, while Temporal users gain a streamlined migration path.
