Clio launched Visualizations in Clio Work, where a legal professional describes a tool or view, such as a case chronology, a settlement calculator or a firm performance dashboard, and Clio Work picks the relevant data, writes and runs the code and builds it inside the platform. Views can draw on one matter or on data across a client, practice area or the whole firm.
Firms can get analytics built on request from their own Clio data without exporting to spreadsheets, and the agent now writes and runs code for the user, which is a new kind of action to govern.

Clio added Canadian case law and legislation to Vincent for research, drafting, analysis and citation verification. The integrated collection includes more than 567,000 judicial decisions plus federal and provincial legislation across Canada's common law provinces. Quebec and Nunavut legislation remain in progress and are outside the announced completed coverage.
Firms handling Canadian matters can now evaluate Vincent against a broader body of domestic authority within their research workflows. Jurisdictional gaps remain material when deciding whether its coverage fits a firm's practice.

Clio released its August update for Vincent and Studio, integrating the Vincent AI directly into Clio Operate to reason over live matters and permissions. The release also adds Docket Insights for researching live US court records, a natural language workflow builder in Studio, a model selector to choose between Claude, GPT, and Gemini, and live conversation status tracking.
Enterprise law firms can now embed AI directly into their existing matter workflows rather than relying on standalone chat interfaces. The addition of model selection and live court docket research gives legal teams greater control, flexibility, and accuracy when automating complex legal tasks.

Clio launched Grow AI within its Clio Grow client intake and relationship management product. This release introduces 24/7 AI-powered intake agents capable of handling prospective client inquiries automatically.
Law firms can automate their initial client intake process around the clock to capture leads outside of business hours. This reduces the manual administrative burden on staff and accelerates the client onboarding pipeline.
