NeuBird builds autonomous AI SRE agents that do the full incident investigation a human engineer would, and its architectural bet is a distinctive one. Co founded by Gou Rao and Vinod Jayaraman, who previously built Portworx, acquired by Pure Storage, and Ocarina Networks, acquired by Dell, the company closed a $19.3 million round led by Xora Innovation in April 2026 for $63.8 million total, backed by Mayfield, StepStone, Prosperity7, and Microsoft's M12. Its first agent, Hawkeye, brought LLM reasoning to telemetry; its April 2026 agent, Falcon, is three times faster and adds prediction.

The technical core is the Agentic Context Engine. Rather than relying on RAG or vector databases, it exposes the full telemetry stack, metrics, logs, traces, alerts, events, and configuration, as queryable typed tables, so the agent reasons over structured context instead of unprocessed raw data, a design the company argues is the difference between an almost correct answer and a correct one. Falcon decomposes each investigation into subtasks handled by different models optimized per subtask, and reports 92 percent confidence in root cause analysis. The predictive layer is the newest step: Falcon continuously scans telemetry to surface failure patterns before they manifest, with accuracy the company describes as strong on a 72 hour window and very high inside 24 hours. Across customers including DeepHealth and Commonwealth Bank it reports more than one million alerts resolved, roughly 88 to 90 percent reductions in mean time to resolution, and 78 percent alert noise cuts.

Security is handled through context engineering: NeuBird operates read only across AWS, Azure, and GCP with no raw data leaving the network, integrating with PagerDuty, Datadog, and Slack. It publishes no pricing and sells to enterprise.
