Tabnine's whole argument is deployment: on premise and air gapped with private repository models, from 39 dollars per user. Augment's Cosmos coordinates specialized agent teams across the lifecycle with shared memory and MCP and webhook integrations, at a hundred dollars a month flat. If your code cannot leave your network, Augment is out regardless of coverage, and that is the first question to settle.
On the Agentic Index coding agent ranking, neither Augment Code nor Tabnine clears the bar, which asks for all five merge loop capabilities documented in full.
