JetBrains ships Junie and a command line tool with bring your own key, MCP support and a plan, execute and verify loop, from ten dollars a month. Augment's Cosmos coordinates specialized agent teams across the development lifecycle with shared memory and MCP and webhook integrations, at a hundred dollars a month flat. If your team already lives in JetBrains editors, ten dollars a month for a native agent is very hard to beat.
On the Agentic Index coding agent ranking, neither Augment Code nor JetBrains AI clears the bar, which asks for all five merge loop capabilities documented in full.
